On 31 May 2022, we published the regulated electricity prices (notified prices) for regional Queensland to apply from 1 July 2022.
On XX July 2022, we received a delegation from the Minister for Energy, Renewables and Hydrogen to develop two new time-of-use tariffs for residential and small business customers in regional Queensland.
These new tariffs will apply from 1 January 2023 and supplement the existing suite of notified prices for customers in regional Queensland in 2022–23 (2022–23 tariff schedule). Other than introducing these new retail tariffs, this review will not otherwise vary the existing 2022–23 tariff schedule.
On XX July 2022, we informed stakeholders of this review by publishing the Minister’s delegation and a stakeholder notice outlining the indicative timing, process and scope of the review.
