On 31 May 2019, we released our final determination on regulated retail electricity prices for regional Queensland in 2019–20.
Electricity prices for most regional customers will fall in 2019–20. The typical customer on the main residential tariff (tariff 11) will see a decrease of 4.4%, and the typical customer on the main small business tariff (tariff 20) will see a decrease of 5.8%.
On 28 February 2019, we released our draft determination on regulated retail electricity prices for regional Queensland in 2019–20.
The 2019–20 draft determination forecast a 4.1% decrease for a typical customer on the main residential tariff (tariff 11), and a 7.2% decrease for the typical customer on the main small business tariff (tariff 20).
We held community workshops in Ayr, Bundaberg, Cairns, Charleville, Mackay, Townsville and Brisbane. A copy of the workshop presentation can be downloaded below.

On 20 December 2018, we received a delegation to determine regulated retail electricity prices for regional Queensland from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020 from the Minister for Natural Resources, Mines and Energy.
We released an interim consultation paper, which can be downloaded below, along with all non-confidential stakeholder submissions received in response.
