Aurizon Network’s approved 2010 access undertaking required it to submit a proposed incentive mechanism to the QCA for approval.

In April 2015, Aurizon Network withdrew its proposed incentive mechanism.

On 30 April 2012, Aurizon Network submitted its proposed incentive mechanism to us for approval.

The 2010 access undertaking envisaged that an incentive mechanism would encourage Aurizon Network to operate, and invest in, its rail network efficiently and in a way that promotes efficiency of a coal chain.
