On 23 May 2018, the QCA made a final decision to approve Aurizon Network’s draft amending access undertaking (DAAU) to extend the terminating date of the 2016 access undertaking by six months.
Accordingly, the 2016 access undertaking was to now terminate on the earlier of 31 December 2018, or the date on which a replacement undertaking took effect.

Aurizon Network on 24 April 2018 submitted a draft amending access undertaking (DAAU) to extend the terminating date of its 2016 access undertaking from 30 June 2018 to the earlier of 31 December 2018, or the date on which a replacement undertaking takes effect.
