Aurizon Network manages Australia’s largest coal export rail network, the central Queensland coal network (CQCN).
Since 1997, the CQCN has been declared for third party access in accordance with part 5 of the QCA Act.
Aurizon Network’s previous access undertakings set out the general terms and conditions under which Aurizon Network provided access to its rail infrastructure in central Queensland.
They also set out the process for an access seeker to negotiate access to the infrastructure and how any disputes in relation to access were to be resolved.
