In accordance with the QCA Act, DBCT can at any time submit a DAAU to the QCA for approval. DAAUs seek to amend approved access undertakings.
Extension DAAUs seek to extend the termination date of an approved access undertaking.
DAAUs are assessed by the QCA in accordance with the relevant provisions of the QCA Act.
On 20 April 2016, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT) Management submitted a draft amending access undertaking (DAAU) to extend the terminating date of the DBCT 2010 access undertaking from 30 June 2016 to the earlier of 30 June 2017, or the approval date of a new undertaking.
The covering letter and an explanatory memorandum setting out the key elements of the extension DAAU, and DBCT Management’s reasons for seeking an extension, as well as clean and marked-up copies of the DAAU, are available below.
We invited stakeholders to comment by 26 May 2016. We received no submissions and made a final decision in June 2016 to approve DBCT’s April 2016 extension DAAU.
